Interviewed by L'Équipe as part of its series "Paroles d'Ex", Adil Rami spoke about the moments he experienced in the locker rooms of the various clubs he played for.

The opportunity to reveal an anecdote shared with the Italian Mario Balotelli. "The craziest and the biggest party animal is Mario. He's done so many things," he says. "One day, he and I found ourselves at a party and we were having fun cracking nuts with our heads. Until I split my forehead open and he was dying of laughter."

During this interview, the former Olympique de Marseille defender also revealed that Real Madrid had come to inquire about a potential transfer while he was playing at Valencia.

"Real Madrid came to discuss my transfer. I wasn't aware of it at first, and when they told me about it, I was really happy. But Valencia said, 'Not this year.' It was im-po-ssible for the club. They said, 'One more year and then we'll negotiate.'" In the end, it didn't happen.
